Jason Alderman

Corporate communications executive

Jason Alderman is a senior public relations leader who has helped build top-performing corporate communications departments at a wide variety of Fortune 500 companies and startups. Alderman's track record includes creating communications and government relations functions at top companies such as Fast, Clover Health and DraftKings. At Clover Health and DraftKings, he also steered the companies through significant reputational and regulatory challenges, positioning them both for enormously successful IPOs. Alderman was also the Vice President of Public Affairs at Visa, running a global program that included the company’s CSR and financial literacy programs. Alderman’s career included service as a Congressional staffer on the House Appropriations Committee and as the legislative director for Rep. Sidney Yates of Illinois. In that post, he helped oversee the multi-billion dollar budgets for the Department of the Interior, the Department of Energy and the Smithsonian Institution. A frequent speaker at international conferences, Alderman has been cited in numerous academic and media reports, and co-founded the Bay Area Center for Voting Research think tank.
