Jamie Frevele writes for Geekosystem and produces sketch comedy when she can get others to collaborate, including the weather. She dabbles in standup and doesn't read internet comments on her work. She has a degree in political science from Hofstra University, where she also studied mass media studies and broadcasting. While unsuccessfully trying to be a journalist, she was published in New York's Newsday and on Mediabistro’s FishbowlNY, TVNewser, and The Black Table, and worked at News 12 Long Island.
