Jamal leads NIAC Action’s efforts to ensure Iranian Americans have a powerful voice to influence the policies and politics that matter most to our community. Jamal previously served as a Policy Advisor in the US Congress, working on foreign affairs, immigration, and defense issues. Prior to coming to DC, he worked in his home state of Washington as a field organizer for U.S. Congressional elections. He received his B.A. from the University of Washington in Seattle.
