Frederick M. Lawrence is an American lawyer, civil rights scholar and Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of The Phi Beta Kappa Society. He is a Senior Research Scholar and Visiting Professor of Law at Yale Law School. He served as President of Brandeis University from 2011-2015, and prior to that was the dean of the George Washington University law school from 2005-2010.
