Elena is entering the ninth grade; she has been homeschooled by her mother for the past six years. Her homeschool education consists of mostly online classes and book work to back that up. She also belongs to The Excelsior Academy, a homeschool information, network and oversight program. A part of her education includes her Internship at Global Classrooms DC with UNANCA.
She lives in Kensington, Maryland, with her parents and younger brother. Her hobbies include fencing, rollerblading and studying advances in paleo-anthropology, which she hopes to pursue for college and career. Earth and human sciences have long been her passion, at least since she was seven years old.
