David Sirota is a nationally syndicated newspaper columnist, daily drive-time radio host on AM760 in Colorado, and New York Times bestselling author living in Denver. His two books, Hostile Takeover (2006) and The Uprising (2008) were both New York Times bestsellers. His third book is scheduled to be released in the Spring of 2011. It is called "Back to Our Future: How the 1980s Explain the World We Live in Now -- Our Culture, Our Politics, Our Everything."

In the years before becoming a full-time journalist, Sirota worked as the press secretary for Vermont Independent Congressman Bernard Sanders, the chief spokesman for Democrats on the U.S. House Appropriations Committee, the Director of Strategic Communications for the Center for American Progress, a campaign consultant for Montana Gov.
