David Mager

David Mager has been working with Deepak Chopra MD for the last 3 years on the Deepak Chopra Dream Weaver, Endorphinate and HomeBase projects. David is a scientist, inventor, entrepreneur and environmental warrior. Since co-organizing US and foreign high school student participation in the first EarthDay in 1970, the bulk of David’s work has been with helping companies profit from Greening their operations. He has worked with over 400 Fortune 500 companies like GM, GE, IBM, Unilever, Coco Cola, Anheuser Bush, Time Warner, Nestle and socially responsible companies like Aveda and Stonyfield. David co-authored Street Smart Sustainabilty – the Entrepreneur’s Guide to Profitably Greening Your Organizations DNA.

David was an advisor on the Obama USDA transition team. Previously he was director of standards at Green Seal and directed the development of environmental standards for energy efficient lighting, water efficient fixtures, household paint, windows and doors, appliances, household cleaners, and recycled paper and engine oil. He represented the US at the creation of ISO 14000, the global environmental management systems standards. David co-founded Vapor Technologies, which developed an environmentally superior process to electroplating, and sold it to $8 billion Masco. David lives on the banks of the Connecticut River in Pioneer Valley Massachusetts with is wife Deborah and youngest daughter Sunrise.
