Fire Chief, Black Forest Fire & Rescue

Chief Bob Harvey started his career in the fire service with the California Department of Forestry. Soon after, he entered the USAF as a military firefighter and served in Colorado Springs and the United Kingdom. He then worked for 25 years in the Colorado Springs Fire Department and attained the rank of Captain. Retiring early, he developed a private engine response firm known as Rampart Fire Services. He subsequently held positions as an Emergency Planner and Response Coordinator, Fire Chief of Leadville Lake County Fire in Colorado, Regional Operations Manager at the Wildfire Defense Systems of Bozeman. He currently serves as Fire Chief at Black Forest Fire Rescue, a position he has held since August 2012.
