Chase Whiteside

Chase Whiteside is one-half of the documentary film team known as New Left Media. His short films, produced alongside Erick Stoll, have been seen online more than four-million times and have been featured in whole or in part by the BBC, Bill Moyers’ Show, The Ed Show, GRITv, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, CurrentTV, Washington Post, Air America, Huffington Post, The Nation, Andrew Sullivan, Dan Savage, Roger Ebert’s Journal, DailyKos, and The Daily Show’s Indecision Blog, among others. While best known for their viral videos documenting the rise of the Tea Party movement during last year’s healthcare reform debate (which IndieWire called “a perfect example of where documentary form and style is headed”), Whiteside and Stoll are currently working on longer, more substantial pieces for the festival circuit.
