Cate Long works in the bond market developing tools and systems for retail investors. She has specific expertise in credit rating agencies and the protocols for electronic trading.

She has worked for a number of years with industry standards organizations, regulators and Congress to help craft a more transparent and fair framework for investors to participate in the fixed income markets.

Since the credit crisis began she has worked to simplify the issues around the securities and banking industries for member of Congress and the media. See the open source project which she leads called Riski.
