Los Angeles-based writer and filmmaker Brynn Gelbard started the DeVote Campaign in 2010 after having to cancel her wedding because of the passing of Proposition 8. Since then, she has been creating videos of people from all walks of life discussing what inspired them to fight for LGBT equality. She is infinitely grateful that her Irish partner of over a decade won a green card in the lottery and cannot think of a better way to give back than by recording and publishing the stories of binational couples struggling to be together in the U.S. under DOMA, to help take down this unjust law once and for all.
