Bill & Claire Wurtzel

Authors, 'Funny Food: 365 Fun, Healthy, Silly, Creative Breakfasts'

Bill Wurtzel has made healthy, artistic and hilarious breakfasts for over 50 years… just to amuse his wife Claire.

Although he’s not a cook, Bill makes any food look visually appealing. With his skills as an artist and jazz musician, Bill can improvise the food designs spontaneously with any ingredients on hand.
Claire has been a “Weight Watcher” for many years and Bill is very supportive. He measures the ingredients of whatever crazy dish he’s preparing so Claire can calculate the points.

With their book, “Funny Food: 365 Fun, Healthy, Silly, Creative Breakfasts," Claire and Bill aspire to make it fun for parents and children to learn about healthy eating. They also conduct Funny Food Workshops in schools. All who attend are encouraged to play with, and then eat their healthy food.

They would like to have their Funny Food School Workshops integrated into a larger initiative to sustain the learning.

BILL WURTZEL was an award-winning advertising creative director. Today he’s a renowned jazz guitarist performing worldwide.
