Annie Stamell

Writer

Annie Stamell began her career tracking pop culture at trend forecasting agency The Intelligence Group. There she wrote for www.trendcentral.com, where she covered digital and entertainment trends and worked with a wide array of clients, including The CW Network, 20th Century Fox Film Marketing, Target, Nordstrom, and Equinox. She then segued to a career in television, and after working in scripted and digital development at a major television studio, she now works in the writers’ office of the new Fox TV show The Finder.

She's written and reported for online magazines such as The Huffington Post, Zap2it, HelloGiggles and Digiday Daily, and maintains the pop culture blog Jaw Wired Shut. She's based in Los Angeles and can regularly be found sharing details on the minutiae of a day in the life of Hollywood under her nickname Stamos. In what little spare time she has, Annie offers social media consulting, and true to the "girl moves to Hollywood from Small Town, America in search of her dreams" cliché, she's currently writing multiple television pilots and screenplays. You can follow her on Twitter and Tumblr.
