Anne Stafford

Anne Stafford is a true advocate for parental involvement in education. Her work towards creating genuine and meaningful partnerships between parents and educators has made a significant impact in her community and in the lives of children. With a focus on collaboration, communication, accountability, and equity, Anne has empowered parents to work with teachers towards greater student achievement. Among her many accomplishments during her 15 years as a PTA leader and a member of the school leadership team are the creation of a school-based Parent Involvement Resource Center and the conception and development of a community outreach program that provides free personal hygiene items to students in need. Anne has also been instrumental in the implementation of parent data nights that equip parents with a broad range of student testing information, academic benchmarks, and school accountability measures.
