Alysia Baldwin Ferro has been a member of the Johnson and Johnson Family of Companies for 25 years working in various capacities. Alysia started as a chemist in the labs and then transitioned into a role working with Health Authorities around the world supporting the approvals of new drugs and new indications and improved labeling in the areas of hematology, oncology, anti-infectives and woman’s health. She is currently a Senior Director in the Quality Assurance organization of J&J continuing to work in areas so effective drugs can be brought to the global market. More importantly, Alysia is a mother of three boys, Michael (21), Bobby (18) and Jonathan (17) who have always been and continue to be the focus of her life. After Bobby was diagnosed with a brain tumor in December 2011, Alysia and her husband Mike started “Hope Brings Strength” efforts to support the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House where they stayed with Bobby during his radiation treatments. These effort which to date, have raised over $30,000 was started simply to say “thank you” and to help families, like theirs, who need a place to rest their head while their child is going through significant treatments at local hospitals.
