Novelist, Former Sex-Crimes Prosecutor

Allison Leotta was a federal sex-crimes prosecutor in Washington, D.C. for twelve years. She now writes novels drawing on her experience, for which she's been dubbed “the female John Grisham." Her goal is for Grisham to be dubbed "the male Allison Leotta." Her books have been recommended in Oprah's Book Club 2.0, USA Today, and the Washington Post. Her most recent novel, THE LAST GOOD GIRL, is a family drama about a college sex assault.


Allison also reality-checks TV crime shows for what they get right and wrong. Her blog, The Prime-Time Crime Review, was named one of the best legal blogs in America.
