Jeanne Devon

NY Times Best-Selling Author, Founder of The Mudflats

Jeanne Devon is a New York Times best-selling author of Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin (with Frank Bailey and Ken Morris), widely praised as the ultimate tell-all, and the most thoughtful and complex analysis of Palin’s personality, and early political career. Devon is also a political writer, and founding editor of the multiple-award winning Alaska political blog, The Mudflats. She catapulted to national attention when Sarah Palin was nominated as the Republican candidate for Vice President, and The Mudflats became one of America’s primary sources of information for all things Palin. Devon went on to cover Senate candidate Joe Miller in 2010, and won an Alaska Press Club Award for her coverage of Alaska militias in 2015. Her latest book "The Blood of Patriots - How I Took Down an Anti-Government Militia with Beer, Bounty Hunting, and Badassery" (with Bill Fulton) is available at booksellers now, and has been widely praised. A New Jersey native, she moved to Alaska almost three decades ago seeking adventure, and it found her.
