You always hear people on food TV shows say that we "eat with our eyes first." Although this phrase has probably lost all meaning to you, sometimes you see something that reminds you of how true it actually is. That's what happened to us when we saw this video tutorial for these crazy vegetable pinwheel garnishes. Our favorite things about these beautiful presentation pieces are: 1) they're still totally edible and 2) they require little to no special skills or equipment. If you have a mandoline, sharp knife or both, you can impress your friends.
