Blac Chyna Might Not Be Able To Trademark The Kardashian Name After All

She's got to take it up with Kim, Khloe and Kourtney.

Blac Chyna’s relationship with the Kardashians just got a little more komplicated.

Chyna (real name Angela Renée White) recently filed to legally trademark her name as “Angela Renée Kardashian,” but Kim, Kourtney and Khloe are not in favor, People reports.

According to documents seen by the outlet, the Kardashian sisters’ companies filed a response claiming they’ll “suffer damage including irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill” if the model/entertainer trademarks their name. The documents also reportedly say Chyna is “deliberately seeking to profit from the goodwill and popularity” with the name change.

This news didn’t sit well with Chyna’s lawyer, Walter Mosley, who exclusively told People he hopes “it’s just a big misunderstanding.”

“The Kardashians, like Angela and my other clients are very protective of our marks, I think for us this is going to be a clear case win, because it’s actually her name, it’s not a poaching,” Mosley said. “I would hope that this is just a junior lawyer’s error, who’s just responding to everything and not really looking at who it’s from or why it was filed.”

The lawyer added, “There’s a softer side of this where Angela has to have a conversation with her family.”

Sounds like all of this drama and konversation will make for a great segment on Chyna and her fiancé Rob Kardashian’s rumored wedding special. The two recently welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Dream.
