The British magazine known for its wry humor summed up the candidacy of Donald Trump in a single cover image released on Thursday:

Just in case it wasn’t obvious what they were getting at, the magazine posted an animated version on Twitter:

Healthy democracies depend on unwritten rules,” the magazine’s lead article stated. “The Republican nominee has trampled all over them.”

Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S.
