Report: Roger Goodell Alive At 57

No, he's not dead, internet.
He's fine.
He's fine.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is alive and working today, according to various sources and independent confirmation by The Huffington Post.

Nope, there's nothing strange or off about Goodell's life this particular Tuesday, except that, for a few moments, everyone thought he was dead.

This is not true.

The NFL's tweet immediately caused a mixture of panic and skepticism — the "announcement" was sudden and surprising, and no inside NFL sources had told reporters beforehand about any potential problems. This had to be a hack, right? The panic came, of course, because HOLY CRAP THE NFL COMMISSIONER IS SUDDENLY DEAD? WHAT?!

The above tweet, however, was quickly deleted. The alleged hacker, realizing that the jig was up, decided to have some fun while he still had the @NFL controls:

Hi, hacker!

NFL Vice President of Communications Brian McCarthy quickly let the world know that our suspicions were correct: The NFL account was hacked and Goodell is fine.

Carry on, everyone. Or, have some humor with this silly non-news, like former NFL linebacker Lance Briggs did:
