There's an unexpectedly vibrant female-centered world of porn thriving on Tumblr

Emma Gray, Executive Editor of HuffPost Women, recently collaborated with the site's multimedia team to create a stunning look at said world. In her research, Gray found that the sexual imagery hosted on the social media platform was often more diverse, more inclusive and more interested in highlighting -- and stoking -- women's arousal than traditional, mainstream varieties of porn and distribution models made and utilized by straight, white men for straight, white men.

In this episode of the HuffPost Love+Sex Podcast, co-hosts Carina Kolodny and Noah Michelson investigate how the porn industry is rapidly changing in other arenas, too, thanks to a radical reimagining of what sex could look like on camera, as well as new ways people will soon be able to experience adult content.

In addition to Gray, Kolodny and Michelson spoke with Cindy Gallop, the founder and CEO of Make Love Not Porn, a site that features real people having real sex, and Ela Darling, one of the co-founders of VRTube.xxx and a pioneer in the burgeoning world of virtual reality porn:

The HuffPost Love+Sex podcast is produced by Katelyn Bogucki and edited by Nick Offenberg.
