As love affairs between men and their beards rage on, it's important to remember that, just like the hair on your head, certain styles of beards look better on certain shaped faces. 

Thanks to a handy new infographic by Business Insider, it's clear that beards are not one-size-fits-all. While we're not sure we can get behind anyone rocking a "soul patch," the trend does best lend itself to a round face. A rectangular-shaped face, on the other hand, works better with a fuller style. 

This is great news for those guys with oblong faces who have always been dying to try out mutton chops. We know you're out there.
