On Thursday afternoon, Con Ed reported that most of its customers won't have power until the weekend of November 10. So whether you can't spend another night in your power-less pad, need a place to stay while volunteering in some ravaged region of the Tri-State, or just need to get away, there are several budget-friendly options available.

Atlantic City hotels, including Revel, The Chelsea and Resorts Casino are awaiting approval from local and state authorities that it is permissible to reopen. Caesar's and Showboat said they are getting close to reopening and "can't wait to see the hustle and bustle back on the boardwalk." Revel said it anticipates clearance some time this weekend, stating, "At the moment, our primary focus is simply reopening safely and in an organized fashion. We have not moved to discussions regarding special rates."
