Mumford and Sons' Grammys 2013 nominations include Album of the Year, Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song, Best Americana Album, Best Song Written for a Visual Medium (for the track they contributed to the "Brave" soundtrack) and Best Long Form Music Video.
Overall, Mumford and Sons earned six Grammy nominations at the 55th annual ceremony, tying the band with Kanye West & Jay-Z, Frank Ocean, Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys and fun.
Mumford and Sons are made up of lead singer Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, Country Winston, Ted Dwayne. The band's sophomore album, "Babel," was released on Sept. 21, 2012 and sold 600,000 copies in its first week. At the time, that was the biggest debut for a record in 2012, but the total was surpassed by Taylor Swift's "Red" in October.
Mumford and Sons' Grammys love extends all the way back to 2011. At the 53rd annual Grammy Awards, the band was nominated for Best New Artist and Best Rock Song ("Little Lion Man"). At the 54th annual Grammy Awards in February of 2012, Mumford and Sons earned nominations for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song, all for "The Cave."

This amalgam of rockers and hip-hop stars perform "No Sleep Till Brooklyn" to honor the late MCA. CBS, however, cuts them off with an rundown of the night's sponsors. Classy.
