Kim Kardashian's famous derriere was the focus of several stories this week, starting with tales of "fat injections" and culminating in the cover of InTouch Weekly's outrageous headline: "Kim's Diet Disaster ... My Butt Won't Stop Growing!"
But Kim, who is used to gossip and tabloid rumors surrounding everything from her love life to her family to her famous figure, couldn't let this one slide.
The reality star, 33, took to Twitter Wednesday (Feb. 19) to slam the rumors and put her fabulous figure in perspective:
I'm seeing all these nonsense tabloids claiming I have butt implants-injections. Get a life! Using pics of me 15lbs skinnier (before I had my baby) comparing to me now! I still have weight to lose. Anyone who has had a baby knows how hard it is to lose weight(especially the last bit of weight) & your body totally changes! Making fun of me pregnant & making fun of me trying to lose weight now shame on you. I'm not perfect but I will never conform to your skinny standards sorry! Not me. And BTW I've lost a lot so far & I'm proud of that! Don't give young girls a complex!
Kanye West's fiancee has been honest about her weight loss process following the birth of her daughter, North, this past June. In Oct. 2013, Kim said the Atkins diet is helping her shed pounds. "I still have my cheat days, but when you're breastfeeding you can't really starve yourself," she told People magazine, adding: "I haven't exercised a whole lot so far, just because I've been busy with the baby and I don't want to leave her. But growing up our parents always exercised, so it's always been important to us. We all love to work out."
