Months after making headlines for subtly acknowledging her sexuality in her Golden Globes acceptance speech, Jodie Foster reportedly has a brand new girlfriend.
E! Online reports that the Academy Award-winning actress, 50, has been "quietly dating" photographer Alexandra Hedison.
"It's pretty serious," a source told E! of the new couple. "They're totally in love."
Previously, Hedison was linked to Ellen DeGeneres, according to the report. Hedison and DeGeneres split in 2004, The Advocate reported at the time.
Hedison, 44, is no stranger to the Hollywood scene. In addition to having dated DeGeneres, she appeared on Showtime's "The L Word" as Dylan Moreland. Her acting resume also includes stints on "Prey," "L.A. Firefighters," and the original "Melrose Place."
Foster thanked her ex-girlfriend and co-parent, Cydney Bernard, when she accepted the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award at the Golden Globes in January. Foster and Bernard, who split in 2008, have two sons, Charles and Kit.
