Jesse Tyler Ferguson And Fiance Justin Mikita Hire A Wedding Planner

Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Fiance Preparing To Tie The Knot

They're one step closer to tying the knot!

"Modern Family" actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his fiancé Justin Mikita have reportedly hired a wedding planner for their big day. The two-year couple, who announced their plans to marry in September, intend to wed sometime next year.

Though they have the planner picked out, the pair still have a lot of wedding decisions to make -- like finding a venue for the ceremony.

"Neither one of us ever dreamed of getting married," Ferguson told E! Online. "Maybe in the back of our heads we did, but we don't have a book of our dream wedding… It's a lot of learning as we go."

Ferguson revealed he was the one who popped the question in a recent video promotion for his new pro-gay marriage charity, Tie The Knot.

As part of the charity, Ferguson and Mikita designed 20 limited-edition wedding bow ties, two of which they will both wear on their own wedding day. Proceeds from the line will be donated to the Human Rights Campaign, which advocates for marriage equality.

While the couple has not finalized a date, Ferguson's and Mikita's big day will likely not take place until after Valentine's Day 2013, when the line of formal wedding bow ties will be released.
