'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' Thanksgiving: Mama June Quizzes The Family (VIDEO)

'Honey Boo Boo': Mama June Quizzes Family On Thanksgiving

It was Thanksgiving time on the latest "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" special. In honor of the holiday, Mama June decided to test the family on their knowledge of the Thanksgiving traditions and the history that gave birth to the holiday. It turned out to be a tough challenge for the entire household.

"Christopher Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1942. Ain’t that Thanksgiving?" Jessica asked.

"Jessica, did you say 1942?" June asked. "That’s like Pearl Harbor." Well, Mama June was close on that one, missing it by less than a month -- the attack on Pearl Harbor happened on December 7, 1941.

When the talk got to pilgrims, Anna declared, "Pilgrims are Amish people." But June wasn't so sure. Anna's guess put Columbus' voyage in the 1930s, so she wasn't going to clarify anything for the family either.

Maybe they can explain Christmas to their fans next month. "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" comes back with a clips special on February 10, followed by their Christmas special on February 17, both at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
