Mike grew suspicious that Paul Briggs was stealing drugs from their investigations this week on "Graceland." Especially after he learned that Paul was left by himself to process the largest haul of drugs they'd ever seen. So he followed him. He uncovered something perhaps even more shocking.
Peering around a door frame, he heard Paul addressing a group of people. "Hi, my name is Paul and I’m a heroin addict," he said.
SheKnows could only muster a "Whoa" in response to this big revelation. No wonder Paul knew that Charlie needed to get some more back in her system so she could be straight for her debrief. Charlie had risked her career by taking heroin to try and maintain her cover. Now, she risks addiction. And apparently, she's not the only one who may be battling it.
“Clearly [Paul] must have been attending these NA meetings for a while now," wrote TV Fanatic. "And being the master undercover agent that he is, managed to hide it from everyone in the house, perhaps his best performance to date.”
While it may look pretty damning for Paul, the actor who portrays him, Daniel Sunjata, thinks it could be a good thing. He told HuffPost, "It definitely engenders in Mike a deeper understanding of Briggs' seeming contradictions ... I think that's the point at which Mike starts to see Briggs through a more human lens and starts to empathize with him a bit more.”
Mike's understanding of Paul Briggs continues on "Graceland," Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on USA.
