Farrah Fawcett And Her Iconic '70s Hairdo (PHOTO)

Really!

Farrah Fawcett was the ultimate sex symbol of the '70s (her iconic red bathing suit poster broke sales records around the world). Fawcett got her start in Hollywood in the late 1960s doing commercials to earn cash until she eventually landed guest spots on hit TV series like "The Flying Nun" and "I Dream of Jeannie." Although Fawcett rose to fame for her good looks, her big break came when she was cast as Jill Munroe in "Charlie's Angels." She went on to get her own star on the Walk of Fame, pose in Playboy and steal the heart of just about every red-blooded male on the planet.

In this 1975 shot we see Fawcett with her famed feathered locks. She wears a classic 1970s ensemble: blue jeans, a peasant blouse and a delicate flower necklace. Although it's hard to tear your eyes away from that shiny mane, her flawless makeup deserves some attention. We love her nude glossy lips and loaded-on mascara -- what a timeless beauty.
