Dr. David Newman Charged With Ejaculating On Patient's Face, Surrenders

Now there's a second accuser

An emergency room doctor accused of ejaculating into a drugged patient's face turned himself in to police Tuesday, the New York Daily News reports.

David Newman of Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City reported to the NYPD Special Victims squad to face charges of sexual abuse and assault.

In addition, a second accuser has emerged, alleging she was sexually attacked by Newman in September, ABC 7 noted.

In the ABC 7 video below shot Tuesday as the doctor and his lawyer approached the station, Newman did not speak to reporters.

According to previous reports, a woman complaining of a sore shoulder visited Mount Sinai's emergency room on Jan. 11. It is alleged she was given an extra shot of morphine by Newman, who proceeded to fondle her breasts and masturbate, ejaculating in her face. The woman is said to have preserved some of his semen for authorities.

"The physician has been suspended from Mount Sinai pending the outcome of the investigation, and we continue to cooperate fully with the appropriate authorities," the hospital said Tuesday in a statement to The Huffington Post.

"He has not provided care to patients at Mount Sinai since the investigation began. We take the nature of these allegations very seriously and continue to conduct our own extensive internal inquiry. The health and safety of our patients are our primary concern. Since this is a police matter, we cannot provide further details.”
