Recently thrust back into the spotlight thanks to the announcement of a "Boy Meets World" sequel, Danielle Fishel has one more thing to celebrate: She's now a college graduate.
Fishel, 31, took to her Tumblr page Wednesday to reveal that she completed her last two final exams and has fulfilled one of her "proudest achievements in life."
The actress also said attending college is how she met her fiance, while working as a math tutor. Fishel said she was intimidated to return to school, not wanting to be the oldest person in class and unable to recall "simple math equations." But the Disney Channel star said she did so well in math that she became a tutor. "And that is how I met my fiance," she wrote.
Fishel revealed that she worked 35 hours a week while attending school, which includes hosting the Style Network series "The Dish" until 2011. She encouraged anyone looking to return to or finish school to do so, saying it will be "very difficult" but "you will gain so much more in the long run."
Fishel did not elaborate on many details about her fiance in the Tumblr post, other than to say he worked full-time while attending school.
"Girl Meets World," the highly anticipated "Boy Meets World" sequel, will reunite Fishel with her beloved co-star Ben Savage, better known as Cory Matthews. The show will center on Cory and Topanga's teen daughter Riley, who has yet to be cast. The pilot is expected to film in February.
