Bill O'Reilly On Ted Kennedy Tribute At Convention: 'Democrats Used A Dead Guy' To Attack Mitt Romney (VIDEO)

Bill O'Reilly criticized the Democratic national convention's tribute to Ted Kennedy on Tuesday night, calling it a "vampire movie."

The video tribute was a clear jab at Mitt Romney. It included clips of Kennedy debating Romney during the 1994 U.S. Senate race, and highlighted Romney's shifting stance on abortion as well as Kennedy smacking his opponent down.

"The Democrats used a dead guy to club Romney," O'Reilly said afterwards. "Is that in good taste?!"

The Fox News host was still indignant when he spoke to Brit Hume later. "I'm obsessed with this," O'Reilly said. "I know it's foolish, but Ted Kennedy attacking Mitt Romney from the grave. Did that grab you at all?" Hume said the video was typical of what happens at conventions.

O'Reilly's criticism echoed Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus' reaction to the video. "Classless Dems use tribute video of deceased Ted Kennedy to attack Mitt Romney," Priebus tweeted on Tuesday night.

MSNBC sang a different tune about the video. Al Sharpton said that the tribute wasn't "classless," but that Mitt Romney was merely "clueless."
