I'm Dylan Kendall. I created the footed mug. Before that I founded Hollywood Arts, the only educational agency in the nation to use arts and music to help the homeless stabilize. I am working now on disrupting the plastics market and protecting kids and oceans.

Dear committee, instead of International Women's Day I'd like to propose an international "stop making cliches out of serious problems" day. Women and girls are enslaved, paid less, promoted less, are overtly sexualized and are still treated as second-class people around the world.

I know my day is not as catchy but it's one day and Hallmark can have National Oreo Day which happens to also be today.
