Reuters Issues Wonderful Correction On 'Jersey Shore' Article

A writer for Reuters made a dubious error in a piece about Abercrombie and Fitch's offer to pay a cast member of "Jersey Shore" to stop wearing the company's clothes on Wednesday.

Abercrombie and Fitch offered a substantial sum to Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, citing the show's negative effect on the brand's image. Reuters writer Roy Strom wrote, "The offer could be considered an abrupt about-face for a company that previously sold T-shirts emblazoned with the wording "The Fitchuation," and "G.T.L." -- the show's common reference to a pre-party routine of "gym, tan laundry."

Unfortunately, Strom mistook the meaning of the acronym G.T.L. The article now contains a correction notice emblazoned at the top that reads, "G.T.L. stands for "gym, tan laundry," not "gym, tan lunch."
