'Chicago': As It Breaks Records, A Look Back At Some Of Its Random Stars

As 'Chicago' Breaks Records, We Look At Its Random Stars

NEW YORK — The musical "Chicago" is about to finger-snap its way into the record books.

The matinee performance on Aug. 27 will mark the musical's 6,138 show, meaning it vaults over the original version of "A Chorus Line" to become the fourth longest-running show in Broadway history.

In honor of the show's record-breaking moment, we're taking a look back at the stars who have kept "Chicago" running strong. The casts over the years have included a number of seemingly random TV personalities and musicians -- from Jerry Springer to Ashlee Simpson -- but who kind of make sense when you think about it.

Take a look through some of the stars, and let us know which ones surprised you most.
