Holiday entertaining is great--in theory. Friends, drinks, a bevy of snackable items that seem to never end. Who wouldn't love that?

I say "in theory," because it's all fun and games until someone has to prep that long list of party snacks. Good news: Party appetizers don't have to be fussy or complicated. In fact, you don't even need more than 3 ingredients to pull them off successfully.

Here's a look at our favorite ideas to trot out this holiday season.

BACON-WRAPPED PRUNES
While it doesn't sound like the most appealing dish, this combo produces an appetizer that's equal parts sweet and salty. Get this recipe.

RADISHES WITH DUKKAH
Change up your normal radishes with butter and opt for a sprinkle of dukkah, a Middle Eastern nut and spice mix. Don't have all the ingredients listed in the recipe below? Scale back or swap out spices based on taste and what's available. Get this recipe.

PROSCUITTO-WRAPPED BREAD STICKS
It doesn't get much easier than this: Buy high-quality proscuitto and a box of grissini, the thin breadsticks you can find at any Italian speciality market. Wrap, eat, repeat. Get this recipe.

HERBED DIP
I could spend hours detailing various dip combinations to trot out this holiday season, but the recipe below is a great starting base--creamy feta cheese, olive oil, and a mess of fresh herbs. Need more ideas? Check out our No Recipe Required on the subject. Get this recipe.

BAKED BRIE
No recipe required here. Just heat up a wheel of creamy brie cheese until it's melty and slightly gooey. Oh, and don't forget to pair it with a loaf of crusty bread.
