Trojan Sex Census: LA Is Number One

Via LA Weekly: Angelenos have sex more often than any other city in the United States, according to the recently released Trojan U.S. Sex Census. The only catch is, we might be having the worst sex in the nation.

The Los Angeles metro population is having sex 135 times a year, or 2.6 times a week. In dead last is Philadelphia, with 99 times a year or 1.9 times a week. But when researchers tallied levels of "sexual satisfaction," Philadelphia reports the highest levels (82%) while Los Angeles reports the lowest (75%).

Maybe Angelenos need to discuss a "quality over quantity" issue with their partners, but it's not like we're not trying. Extra stats from the good folks over at Trojan reveal that Angelenos have the highest levels of vibrator use (48%), the highest levels of oral and anal sex, and we also have the highest number of people who define themselves as "sexually adventurous" (45%).

But perhaps all the theatrics come with a price -- Angelenos are also the most likely to have faked an orgasm (51%).
