Realtor and architecture aficionado, Jan Horn has listed his personal residence also known as "The Courtyard House" for $1.95 million. The Westwood property was designed by Tom Robertson, originally for another owner.

The three bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom house draws from a dialogue with the surrounding nature. The walls of the home open up to blend indoor and outdoor living harmoniously, a marriage between concrete and glass. The home also features a 25' LR vaulted ceil, an outdoor shower, a veranda, large garden area, limestone counters, a Life Source filtered water system throughout, and Clerestory windows.

"The Courtyard House" is also sustainable and environmentally sensitive. Solar panels, Photo Voltaic Cells, Radiant Heat, Central Heat & Air, Steel construction, Galvulum metal roof, Ipe wood flooring, High R insulation, Low E windows, and Nana doors/windows are some of the ecologically responsible qualities of the property.

"This home is one of the most exclusively designed pieces of contemporary architecture that I've ever come across, and I've sold several hundred architectural homes," Horn told the Huffington Post. "The Courtyard House," has been featured in Dwell Magazine, and Jan Horn has taught numerous seminars, including at UCLA.
