An unmistakeable landmark in the heart of downtown Denver's 16th Street Mall has just one livable unit up for grabs: the 12th floor of the Daniels and Fisher Clock Tower. It is currently being listed for $1.2 million.

The historic D&F Clock Tower was designed by Denver architects Frederick Sterner and George Williamson, and modeled after the Campanile at the Piazzo San Marco in Venice, Italy. The home -- recognizable to anyone on 16th Street Mall downtown -- measures 1,408 square feet and was once the tallest building west of the Mississippi River in 1912 when it was built. It features 17-foot ceilings, private elevator access, fine furnishings and a liquor vault from an original D&F payroll safe dated back to 1910.

“The person who lives here will not only own the most unique residence in all of Denver, but will also achieve a sense of history,” said Douglas D. Kerbs of Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty, and the broker listing the property. “This building represents the spirit and attitude of Denver in countless respects, with a true, unequaled and ruggedly elegant design. It is an important representation and anchor of American West architecture, and it's really ideal for more of a collector.”
