MLB Power Rankings: Week 3

MLB Power Rankings

The MLB season is off and running, and so are the Rockies. Behind a lethal combination of pitching and hitting, Colorado is 12-5 and sits atop the NL West. In the AL West, the Rangers have picked up where they left off last season, and could also make the case for the top spot. The surprising Indians rank third, with Philly and the Yankees rounding out the top five.

And hold the phone, the Kansas City Royals -- yes, that's right -- the Royals are playing some terrific baseball and snuck their way into the top ten.

Watch out for the Reds and the reigning champion Giants, two teams that can get hot in a hurry and have the tools to stay hot.

Mr. Irrelevant (dead last) goes to the Seattle Mariners, who are by far the worst team in baseball.
