The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the metropolitan Chicago area beginning at 4 p.m. Monday and lasting until 9 a.m. Tuesday morning.
During the advisory, up to four inches of snow is expected to accumulate and freezing drizzle will seal it into an icy mess overnight.
