How Norwegians Thrive In This Small Town Where The Sun Doesn't Rise

In Tromsø, Norway, a town 200 miles north off the Arctic Circle, the sun doesn't rise between November and January. Some who aren't used to such conditions could be crippled by the darkness, but when Fulbright scholar Kari Leibowitz spent a year there to research the northern town's wellbeing in such extreme environments, she learned that, for the most part, it's embraced.
