Mount Holyoke Students Forced Off-campus Due To Housing Shortage

Five students are living on the second floor of 1 Faculty Lane a result of an on-campus housing shortage this Fall.

"There were a handful of students who needed housing before the school year started," Bill Boerner, interim director of Residential Life, said. "It was a little more unique this year. We opened at a 100 percent capacity."

1 Faculty Lane is owned by the College and was used for medical isolation during the swine flu outbreak last year. It generally serves as temporary housing for the College.
