Justin Bieber Reportedly Placed In Chokehold By Security, Kicked Out Of Coachella

Days after an Argentine judge issued an arrest warrant for his “immediate detention,” Justin Bieber has reportedly landed himself in hot soup again -- this time, getting kicked out of Coachella after being placed in a chokehold by security staff.

According to TMZ, the 21-year-old singer was booted out of the festival Sunday night after getting into a squabble with security.

Bieber and his entourage had apparently tried to gain entry to the artists’ area where Drake was performing, but were stopped by security who said that the area was full.

Per TMZ:

Eyewitnesses [said] Bieber argued with security, saying there was no way he could stand in a big crowd because he'd get bombarded by fans. Security wasn't having it and told him to leave.

[…] At that point a Coachella staffer came up to Bieber and said she would escort him inside the artist's area. She grabbed Bieber by the arm and began walking him and his security team inside, when Coachella security came up from behind and put Bieber in a chokehold. We're told Bieber's team got into it with security and the singer was then ordered to leave the festival.

The “Baby” singer is reportedly considering suing the security staff. HuffPost reached out to Bieber's rep who declined to comment on the incident.

This isn’t the first time that Bieber has been thrown out of a location. In 2013, he was reportedly chucked out of a Chicago nightclub after getting caught drinking underage. Back in 2010, the singer allegedly was told to leave a Massachusetts movie theater after he and his friends were nabbed while trying to sneak into a 21-plus only VIP area.
