Leopard Sharks In Marina Del Rey Attract Onlookers

WATCH: Leopard Sharks Put on Show In Marina Del Rey

MARINA DEL REY, Calif. (KTLA)-- A school of leopard sharks is causing quite a stir in Marina del Rey where crowds have gathered to watch the sea creatures.

Officials say 50 or 60 of the sharks, some up to 5 feet long, began appearing near Mother's Beach about a month ago.

Lifeguards are out in force making sure no one harasses the docile sharks, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department Capt. Danny Douglas.
