Lottery Tickets In 2 States, Puerto Rico To Share $564 Million Jackpot

Tickets in North Carolina, Puerto Rico and Texas matched all six numbers to win the Powerball lottery on Wednesday, The Associated Press reported.

The winning numbers for the Feb. 11, 2015 drawing were: 11, 13, 25, 39, 54 and the Powerball was 19.

Since no one had won the lottery for more than two months, Wednesday's jackpot grew to an estimated $564 million. It was the fifth-largest lottery prize in U.S. history.

Powerball is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Sue Dooley, senior drawing manager and production coordinator for the Multi-State Lottery Association, told AP that the Puerto Rico ticket was the first Powerball jackpot winner ever sold outside the continental U.S.

The Powerball jackpot returns to $40 million for the next drawing on Saturday. The odds of winning are 1 in 175 million.
