Don't throw stones if you live in a glass house. And don't have sex if you work in a glass office.
That's the lesson a Christchurch, New Zealand couple learned the hard way on Friday night when they left the lights on during their romantic office-based interlude, according to the New Zealand Herald.
Onlookers at a pub across the street shot NSFW video of the erotic encounter, which took place inside the Marsh Ltd insurance firm building.
The Herald reports that the pair filmed in the encounter, who are employees of the firm, did not show up for work this week.
Marsh Ltd chief executive Grant Milne told Stuff that the company was taking the complaint seriously.
"We know who is involved," Milne said.
New Zealand's Privacy Commissioner, John Edwards told Radio New Zealand the pair is unlikely to be able to sue for invasion of privacy.
"There's very little likelihood that [the couple] would have any legal remedy," Edwards said. "The people who were watching, we may criticize them for a lapse of decency in taking advantage of that, but it's unlikely there'd be any legal liability for their action."
It's unclear what action, if any, Marsh Ltd will take against the pair.
