Fox Business Reporter Defends Waterboarding After Sydney Hostage Crisis

One Fox Business reporter is clear about where he stands on torture techniques.

Charlie Gasparino, a senior correspondent at Fox Business Network (and a Huffington Post blogger), started a bit of a Twitter battle on Monday with a tweet about the hostage crisis during which a gunmen held multiple people at a Lindt Chocolat Cafe in downtown Sydney:

Gasparino was referring to the 500-page torture report released last week that revealed the interrogation methods employed by the CIA, including the use of waterboarding to the level of near drowning, “rectal feeding” and “rectal hydration.”

The FBN correspondent continued to reply to his critics on Twitter over the effectiveness of torture techniques:
